This is a repeatable strategy I use to consistently get into a powerful, confident state where I'm energized, inspired, focused, and ready to deliver extraordinary value. It will consistently anchor you into a state of empowerment, clarity, and effectiveness—ensuring that every time you step forward to deliver, you do so from a position of strength and confidence rooted in God's presence and your proven capability.

Step 1: Pray to Invoke the Awareness of the Holy Spirit into Whatever I'm Doing

Begin by centering yourself through prayer. Invite the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts, words, and actions. Since the Holy Spirit is always with me, I am really invoking my own awareness of the Spirit's presence in my activity.

Prayer Example:

“Heavenly Father, I thank You for this opportunity. Holy Spirit, come and fill me now with Your presence. Guide my thoughts, empower my words, and energize my heart. Let Your wisdom flow through me, bringing clarity and inspiration. Remind me that I am never alone, for You are always with me.”

Step 2: Visualization of Past Moments of Greatness

Close your eyes, take slow, deep breaths, and vividly recall specific experiences where you delivered outstanding results:

  • Teaching in India: Feel the excitement and passion you experienced, see the engaged faces of your audience, and relive the joy of seeing the transformation occurring in real-time.

  • Genesys Systems IT Team: Remember the sense of unity and accomplishment as you led the team through exercises that energized and motivated them toward clarity and purpose.

  • Farm Bureau Health Plans Executive Retreat: Imagine being back in that moment after the retreat concluded. Clearly visualize the executives approaching you and Larry Baldwin, with broad, genuine smiles, expressing heartfelt gratitude. Hear them clearly saying, "This was the best executive retreat we've ever attended."

  • TWP: Imagine facilitating the two strategic planning events and the board retreat. Imagine all the work you did to prepare for them and the strategic plan that resulted. Hear the positive affirmations you received from people at the retreat. See the potential result after they have realized the new fruit from implementing some of the initiatives. This is truly seeking the health and welfare of the city. For through its welfare, you will find your welfare (Jeremiah 29:7).

Allow yourself to fully experience these memories—the sights, sounds, feelings, and emotions of deep fulfillment and pride.

Step 3: See Positive Feedback Flowing Toward You Right Now

While your eyes remain closed, vividly imagine the individuals you've positively impacted stepping forward one-by-one to speak directly to you right now, in the present moment:

  • Hear their appreciative words clearly.

  • Feel their warmth and genuine gratitude.

  • See their eyes shining with appreciation and respect.

  • Let their words of affirmation build your confidence, knowing you've already demonstrated your ability to make a profound difference.

Step 4: Affirmation of Capability & Readiness

After immersing yourself in these uplifting memories and positive affirmations, mentally affirm:

“God has equipped me for this. I am capable, energized, focused, inspired, and ready. I am here to serve and deliver immense value. Today is another opportunity for greatness.”

Step 5: Pray for God's Help and Presence

Heavenly Father,

You know my heart, my hopes, and my purpose.

Right now, I surrender this moment entirely into Your hands.

Holy Spirit, come and flow through me.

Let Your wisdom, confidence, creativity, and energy pour into me.

Bring to my mind all that I have accomplished through Your strength,

reminding me of the impact You've allowed me to make in people's lives.

Let me clearly see the faces of those You’ve blessed through me.

Let their words of gratitude, love, and appreciation echo in my spirit,

reminding me that You have called and equipped me for this moment.

Lord, let Your strength be my strength.

Let Your peace calm any anxiety.

Let Your love inspire and motivate me.

Let Your joy fill me with excitement.

Let Your presence assure me I am not alone.

Use me now to deliver exactly what is needed.

I trust You completely, and I step forward confidently in Your name.

Thank You, Father, for what You are about to do.
